Monticello Bagel Bakery

I visited the restaurant on 11/23/21 and found that all bagels were vegetable-based and vegan, except for the egg and cheese options. Unfortunately, they no longer offer tofu cream cheese or patties. The bagels were decent overall, but the pumpernickel didn't taste like pumpernickel. It seemed like it was simply colored or had something added to it that was disappointing.

I recently tried some bagels at this restaurant and they were absolutely delicious. I purchased two bagels and even though they were quite flat, they were regular in shape and not overly filled with tofu cream cheese. I was pleased that they only included the right amount of cream cheese, unlike some other places that add too much. I am happy that this restaurant offers vegan-friendly options so I don't have to bring my own cream cheese anymore. I noticed during my visit that they did not have any jams available, which I found unusual for a bagel shop. Additionally, I found it strange that the bagels were different sizes, with the cinnamon raisin bagel being smaller than the others. The drink selection in the refrigerator was good, with options for unsweetened and sweetened beverages, as well as to-go tubs of tofu cream cheese.

The everything bagel with cream cheese I had gets an A+
