Eat Eat Eat - Monticello

Given it was Christmas Eve and the prices were double the usual, we expected it to be so much better. The food was meh. The food was bland for the most part. The ham was pretty much rare and the turkey was dry as cardboard. There was 1 worked for the entire buffer food station area. You had to wait for him to bring out trays then run from one side of the buffer to the other to serve things that weren’t a self-serving. Our service was terrible as well. We didn’t see our waitress once after she brought us our drinks. We had to walk over to the wait staff area to ask for silverware. For this price, they should be ashamed that the food and service is this bad, especially on a holiday.

The food was absolutely incredible, with my favorites being the sausage stuffing, potatoes, yams, and cranberry sauce. The dessert table, particularly appealing to the children, featured a delightful array of treats. The staff was exceptionally friendly, making us feel like we were dining in a five-star restaurant, despite one waiter who seemed overwhelmed while serving water. It was clear that the kitchen staff put a lot of thought and effort into preparing the meal, and even though they were away from their own families for the holiday, they treated us like one big family. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and the entire team did an amazing job. Happy Thanksgiving 2022!

It was fine a buffet Thanksgiving dinner. The staff was very helpful. The food was fine and had all of the staples.

The food is very bad. They have to improve that part. The hotel is very good. The restaurants are very bad.
