Chicken Delite - Monticello

I remember the first time I ate at this place when we moved from Tallahassee to Monticello back in 97 best burgers and chicken ever also their lemonade is the best I don’t care what anyone says. They would feed our football team before every game(tiger fuel)very nice people.

I was kinda shying away from this place just because of the hole in the wall look of it. But my dad always told me that these places were the best and took me to places like this when I was a Child. So one day when my son , hubby, and myself were craving some good ole greasy chicken we decided to try this place.... wow .... everything on their menu is so good !!! The first time trying this place was about 2 months ago and since then I've been here like 10-15 times lol. So far I have tried the livers, gizzards, fried chicken , corn dog , fries , sweet tater cakes, lemonade , SWEET TEA and a cheese burger. Every . Single. Entree.... is DELICIOUS!! I'm so glad I remembered what my dad told me all my life because missing out on this place would have been a great loss ! The only thing I would say is a downside is the fact that u have to wait for about 7-12 minutes for your food. But I would personally rather wait that long rather than recieving old, not made to order, dry food . So there for I keep it at 5 delicious star rating

Quite honestly, this place looks like a dive on outside, but for the price and flavor of the burger it was to die for! I 've lived here in Monticello three years and never be in it because the outside is run down and ugly! It 's worth the waiting due to COVID 19 the burgers (I got mine loaded fries and huge drink are the bomb!

Very nice man owns that place and he served me my food I believe it's him. The slow dog is good I didn't care that much for the chili dog. The apple pies like a McDonald's apple pie but there's is better than McDonald's : sweet tea is very good. It's not fast fast food but it was good and I go there when I stop through Monticello. I love slaw dogs

I love this place. Fried chicken is great but FFs are even better. Owner is a wonderful helpful guy when we were broke down in his parking lot. He let us wait inside even though closed inside because of Corona. We wore masks.
