I wish i had remembered to take pictures before eating,but here they are. We are not from the area but saw the Google reviews, and we all were satisfied. The fish was not greasy, and the batter was delicious. The mac n cheese, green beans, and greens were tasty. My daughter enjoyed her Buffalo fried wings. My husband also enjoyed his fried shrimp. I have no complaints and would definitely recommend it.

Absolutely worth the drive for this homestyle food. Don't let the area or atmosphere deter you. You won't regret the 2 mile drive from Route 17, exit 106.Food: 5/5

This little gem has great food, and large portions, at a very reasonable price. The lady who waited on us was very friendly and kind. Happy to see a locally-owned business thriving on Broadway in Monticello....Parking: Usually free parking on the street in front of the restaurant.

The food was amazing and delicious! We had fried chicken, cottage fries, collard greens, fish, grits and empanadas. The service was friendly and inviting. We would absolutely come again.Food: 5/5

The meal was around 15 dollars for two pieces of barbecue chicken, Mac and cheese which was some of the best I’ve ever had, and some mashed potatoes. All that is more than plenty but then it comes with a piece of cornbread that is sweet yet savory. I rate the meal a 10 because the chicken is nicely covered in that sweet barbecue and the chicken is nice and juicy then the season on the max and cheese is just ?. The gravy on top of the mashed potatoes just brings it all together. Anyone reading this I highly recommend giving this place a try.
