Chappy's Deli Perry Hill - Montgomery

Chappy's Deli on Carmichael Rd is usually a great spot, but today was disappointing. My guest and I ordered the Tilapia and fries, but the sweet and regular fries didn’t seem freshly cooked. The Tilapia sandwich lacked seasoning and flavor entirely. To make matters worse, both of us have been feeling sick and nauseous since leaving the restaurant.

The restaurant offers great food and a warm, friendly atmosphere, complemented by a cheerful and hardworking waitstaff. When we visited on a Saturday morning, the place was bustling, and there was even a live broadcast of a football radio show. However, I deducted one point because my eggs were undercooked. I had ordered them over-medium but received them over-easy, which was much too runny for my liking. I didn't bring it up with our server, though, as the restaurant was quite busy.

I had the concha omelet, which was decent. The staff was very polite and friendly. I would eat there again just for the great service.

I had a wonderful experience from the moment I arrived until I left. Our server, Martha, was absolutely delightful. We even came back later that evening just before closing, and the staff remembered us from earlier in the day, welcoming us with warmth.

I genuinely adore this restaurant! Every time I've eaten here, the food has been amazing, the service has been outstanding, and they even provide complimentary ice cream! Additionally, kids under 6 can eat for free, which is a bonus my toddler appreciates! On our most recent visit, we brought our dog, and they kindly allowed him to sit with us on the patio.
