Plant Bae - Montgomery

I have gone to this plate quite a bit ever since I moved to Montgomery last year. The food is excellent and the staff members when present are kind and catering. Today I decided to order online around 11:30 pm to treat myself to a brunch. When I arrived at 11:55 about the time the website advised my food would be ready. I was greeted with (we’re all out of a specific product and we were trying to reach you. I received no call and had to make a selection at random considering there were 20 patrons waiting. I saw they were extremely short staffed at that moment there were 2 ppl present and one person that was working cash register and kitchen. I am not sure what was going on today but I ended up waiting an additional 20’mins for my meal. Plant bae had just opened at 11 am and items weren’t available which leads me to think they either didn’t prep for it or decided that meal was too intricate to prepare at the time with all those patrons. I feel as though you shouldn’t advertise something if you cannot provide the item. I paid more for less but I took what I could and left. The meal was good but I wanted what I wanted. Staff more personal or expand your business and pay more of a livable wage plant bae or you will see a decrease in patrons. Pay these employees better and personnel may be more willing to show up to work.

We traveled from out of State to visit in 2021 while visiting a relative attending UA. The food was memorable. Hot Flavorable. Visited again, this time, to visit the infamous Riverfront. The food was cold, old, bland, overpriced. I know vegan food is expensive don't mind that. It's the lack of love passion that was not tasted in this visitation. Never going back.

I’ve yet to be disappointed by anything I’ve gotten from Plant Bae. Not the healthiest vegan food, but absolutely delicious. Would recommend anyone to try it out even if you don’t typically eat a plant-based diet.

“Plant Bae” is a 100% Vegan Restaurant located at 175 Lee Street in Montgomery Alabama. First off the location is great because it is very convenient being near the Rosa Parks Museum, Hank Williams Museum, State Capital Building, Downtown River Park, and many other attractions! Parking outside of Plant Bae is metered, abundant, and easy to access. The first thing I noticed walking up to the restaurant was great outdoor seating options and many smiles from all the various people who were dining. The vibe at Plant Bae was immediately welcoming. Once inside you notice more variety of seating options, a cooler with to go items including various house made Sea Moss Gel bottles, and a merchandise rack with cute Tshirts. What I loved about ordering is that Plant Bae has a digital menu that allows you to input your own order. The screen makes it fun and easy to order exactly what you want and exactly the way you want it. You can also place your order with one of the friendly staff members behind the counter. While you wait for your meals (which come out very fast) you’re in luck because Plant Bae offers free Wi-Fi for guests and clearly advertises the password. We ordered the brand new “Soul Roll”, a sweet potato based smoothie, the house made burger with a side of cauliflower wings, and the gluten free Charlie Bae rice bowl. All of the food was SUPERB but I really want to highlight the Soul Roll because I am personally a former cheese lover and this Soul Roll was CHEESEY CHEESEY CHEESEY! The blend of vegan beef crumbles, various cheeses, collard greens, and Mac-N-Cheese in an Egg Roll style wrapper was very enjoyable for me. The prices are very fair for all of the menu offerings and I think non vegans would absolutely love this restaurant too. If you’re having an upcoming event PlantBae can even offering catering for your event! I love this restaurant and I am very happy it exists. Highly recommended ????

First time here, these reviews is what made me want to try it. So hard to find vegan/ vegetarian restaurants. Also had a Western Beau burger and Smoothies. Pictured was the Philly. The food was absolutely worth the 91 miles to try.Very cost effective very clean establishment and customer service was impeccable. I will be going back again.
