La Molienda - Montevideo

Initially, the restaurant may appear to be just another health food store, but hidden in the back is a cafeteria offering a variety of gluten-free options. The freezer is stocked with a wide selection of choices such as empanadas, pies, pascualinas, and pastas. I decided on a frozen pascualina, which they heated up and served to me in the upstairs dining area. It's a wonderful spot to visit if you're looking to fill up on gluten-free treats as well!

At first glance it looks like another “dietética”/health shop, but in the back is the cafeteria with many gluten-free options. In the freezer they had a lot to choose: empanadas, pies, pascualinas, pastas, etc. I chose a frozen Pascualina and they heated it up and served it in the dining room. Great place if you are in store on gluten-free treats!

The back corner of the store is full of vegan frozen meats, cheeses, yogurts and more! there is a whole bulk foods section as well and lots of grains. a small place overall but a surprising amount of vegan goods!

I have been living near La Molienda and go there often. They have great coffee, pies, and lots of vegan options in the grocery. The price is good for Montevideo standards. Totally worth it

Very nice place. It is a small supermarket with a lot of good stuff. In the back they have a restaurant with very very nice things. Salads, empanadas, cakes. Very much choice and delicious
