Naru Sushi - Montevideo

Nice place to try lots of varieties of Sushi. They have something called Tenedor Libre which is a nice concept but could be improved. For 1.000 pesos, they offer you 20 pieces of sushi, then 10 and then multiples of 4. It's basically unlimited food for 1.000 pesos. It's practically impossible for a single person to utilize and they don't allow you to share. Either the price/quantity could be reduced or they allow sharing at least with one person. They provide a free postre/cake and candle if it's someone's birthday in the group but the cédula is verified.

The quality of the food is good. But the public attention is awful either thru delivery or on site. There is a lot of room of improvement starting with the public'attention.

Was OK. Edit: WAS. Last night we went there with friends and family, food was same old same old, however the service was not... The waitress dropped a piece of sushi to the floor, said no worries i will bring you another one , which never came... One of my relatives order for a vegan food which half of the ingredients were not added since they didn 't have it, we ask for lemonades without sugar, they came with sugar, etc. I can understand if the place is overcrowded, but a restaurant should be able to cope with this. The cherry on top of the cake, after all this they asked for a tip.

Beautiful location, exterior and interiors great experience with delicious food, extra attentive service. a place worth checking for lovers of Japanese food.

Amazing meal of highest quality. the service was impeccable. the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. the price was reasonable. come early or reserve them as they are quite busy. we'll be back soon! one of our favorite restaurants in montevideo!
