It is a popular tourist attraction that has drawn the curiosity of travelers over the years. The café has been frequented by famous figures such as Benedetti, Viglietti, and Galeano. One of their famous drinks is the Gaditana, a classic Brazilian cocktail made with cognac and orange, which I enjoyed at the bar. Galeano even has a coffee named after him, adorned with condensed milk, cinnamon, and cocoa. Overall, it was a delightful experience at this historic café.
The first!, the biggest!, the longest!, the most visited!, and titles like that are always sought after by tourist attractions. Ultimately, because they tickle the curiosity of both die-hard and occasional travelers. This is the case of Café Brasilero, the oldest in Montevideo! It was a frequent spot for personalities like Benedetti, Viglietti, and Galeano, so much so that the latter has a coffee dedicated to him on the menu, flavored with condensed milk, cinnamon, and cocoa. I ordered a Gaditana drink, a classic from Brasilero that contains brandy with orange, and I really enjoyed it at their bar.
