Good traditional restaurant, found by chance. The proposals are classic. Generous portions and good overall quality. The account is a bit above what should be but overall it is acceptable

Passing to Siena we returned for a pleasant meal at the restaurant Il Contedino . All expectations met both in the service, always available and attentive, and in the quality/quantity of food... Great, congratulations.

One of the best meals we had during our 5 days in Tuscany. The food was amazing, the wine list was great, and the service was amazing!

This is a very good local restaurant near Il Canto del Sole. It features good local dishes, good wines, and great service. We went there twice and thoroughly enjoyed both meals. Highly recommended for anyone staying at Il Canto del Sole.

My brother and I initially arrived with 3 friends who wanted to have lunch while we just wanted a glass of wine while waiting for other people. Not only when we asked for a table for 5, the waitress did not hide the fact that she was not happy with 2 people taking space and not eating, she later made unpleasant comments when our other friends joined and decided to have lunch. As the comments made us feel unwelcome we decided to go for a pizza. I appreciate waitering is a difficult job but flexibility and a smile should be part of the package.
