The Morning Dove Gluten Free Bakery And Cafe

My husband and I, both gluten-free, ordered a variety of items from the menu at this restaurant. Everything was delicious! The multigrain bread was particularly excellent. Even my children, who do eat gluten, loved the cinnamon rolls. My son even tried the chicken pot pie and couldn't believe it was gluten-free. I tasted the crust myself and it was definitely the real deal! I highly recommend this place, especially for the diverse options and high quality of the food. While it may be a bit pricier than regular baked goods, the joy of finally being able to enjoy treats you usually have to pass on makes it worth every penny.

As a Celiac person living in Pacific Grove, this will be my new local hunt! I'm obsessed!

Just stopped and blown away for the first time. I saw the 100% gluten free sign so expected to find a dozen or so dry little deals. Not at all. There was a wide range of products, many of which were also milk-free! That's great because one of my kids has trouble with milk and gluten. We tried the blueberry muffin, which I think was about $3-$4. It tasted homemade. It was super hearty, but very humid, which I don't think I had ever bought from a store Muffin. Children loved it. Looking at the other elements on the display and the shop itself, I had the impression that this shop brings a lot of care into its products. I will definitely come back a lot and tell my friends.

The restaurant was well lit with natural light. I asked some questions about the flours because I have allergies to certain grains. The owner didn’t seem to like that. He was willing to engage and chat about other things though. Like the story of how his store got started. Which was cool and overall he seems like a a very nice guy. He sells Acme Coffee which is THE BEST! I loved the cinnamon roll! I hope this place sticks around and also uses more paleo flours for extra allergy people.

Not great, very dry brownie. Nothing special about this meal or store. They did give us ketchup however so 2 5 tops. Wouldn't buy again, sorry. I recommend adding icing or solid chocolate chips because that brownie wasn't worth $4. The sausage was also sweet and is actually just two weenies cut in half : not worth $10 at all.....
