Subway - Monterey

Occasionally I get very hungry while shopping, and it was so good to find one of my favorites right here at the mall. Upon entering this store I was instantly greeted by a friendly staff member. I liked this store already! I loved how clean everything appeared to be. The little containers of food all looked so well organized and everything was in place. The staff wore a fresh pair of gloves before taking my order. Another good point. I placed my order, a six inch seeded bread with sweet onion teriyaki. They first put on a generous helping of chicken. This was followed by the shredded cheese. I had it toasted as usual. It tastes better that way. Then add a little lettuce, banana peppers, and olives. To finish it off I had three different sauces added to it.. Sweet onion, and two other sauces. To this I added a chocolate chip cookie and that sweet tea. What a delicious meal. And what a friendly, clean environment.

Couldn 't get my food because the employees didn 't speak English. I tried to order a meatball sandwich and the employee just kept saying monday? She looked like she was 19 years old. I then tried to order a tuna sub and the employee started making turkey swiss. I just said I 'm sorry and walked out. The store manager here needs to be replaced.

Received coupon mailer via USPS which clearly states Get a FOOTLONG for $5.99 went to the Subway located at Del Monte Shopping Center and ordered a footlong roastbeef. The cashier scanned the coupon, but then proceeded to say that I owed an additional $6.54 because the footlong roastbeef was over $13.00.Greez, if I had known it was a 50% coupon, I would have gone to the restaurant in the same shopping center for a REAL roastbeef sandwich!Complained to Subway National, which sent my complaint to the owner near Santa Clara to no avail.

Such Slow service only one person doing the sandwiches during lunch time like are you kidding me they are a joke

Employees, who knew there were customers waiting, went in the back to argue about something. Just kept saying one minute and going back to argue. Extremely rude and unprofessional.
