Bay Cafe - Monterey

Wow! What a great little place! I had a crab and shrimp stuffed breakfast and it was so delicious with a good portion! A reasonable price for a Monterey restaurant, the others in our small group of 3 were also tempted with their food. It's only open for breakfast and lunch, but it'll be my place when I'm here! The service was fabulous and the coffee was the best I had in a restaurant. It was tasteful and the refills were constant. We ate on the terrace and it was such a beautiful experience!!

We come to Monterey once a year and stay at Lodge. We have our breakfast at the cafe. Always good for and fast service.

Good food! Location is perfect. Next time I come to Monterey, you'll never be hungry in Monterey Lodge!

Great food and service. The omelet of Fisherman was excellent. I usually do not put hot sauce on my eggs, but they recommended The Pepper Plant Original California spices, and it was perfect.

I love the staff at Bay Cafe for service and courtesy. I live in Monterey and Bay Cafe has become my regular (almost weekly) breakfast restaurant.The facility is bright, colorful, spacious, and looks over the lake. A local secret.
