Crystal Fish - Monterey

This place is great, as always. Great flavors, fresh fish, and the specials are pretty neat. It fills up fast. I hadn't been here since 2008 and it has still got it.

The portion size of the salmon teriyaki was large, enough for two people to share. The salmon was tasty, although slightly overcooked. The staff were friendly. We ordered takeout so I cannot comment on the ambiance of the restaurant.

The sushi at this restaurant is absolutely incredible and is offered at a very affordable price. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, even during peak dining hours. One of the highlights was a unique appetizer featuring shitake mushrooms stuffed with spicy tuna, fried tempura style. The creative maki rolls were also exceptional.

By far the best sushi place I have ever eaten at! Fish was so fresh the pepper fin was incredible! The service was great as well. We walked in just a table for two and got seated right away, the server was very friendly and on top of everything all night. Highly recommend this place to anyone who either lives around the area or who is visiting looking for some amazing sushi!

Absolutely delicious sushi rolls. We stopped by for lunch and ordered one fire cracker roll and one dragon roll. Both had a good seafood to rice ratio and the Wasabi was fresh. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area that's looking for a sushi place. We will definitely be back!
