Vecchia Cantina Di Montepulciano

A beautiful and historical wine shop, quite an experience walking in the cellars and seeing the old tools and the barrels interesting and a lovely welcome by the staff with local snacks and wine tasting

It was a cold and wet day In Montepulciano and our guide recommended this cantina. We were not disappointed. After touring their impressive cellar, we proceeded to have a late lunch with a couple of pastas and a huge board of Fontina cheese and Chianti Classico. This was a perfect combination for such a dreary day. What was most amazing about the short visit was the service we had. A family-owned winery and cantina, they were so eager to meet us and share their stories of their food and wine! One immediately knew they had such pride in their place and it showed. A must visit to Montepulciano.
