The quality of raw materials, many of which are produced in the company, is excellent. The appropriate quantities (they always offer the bis), the quick and kind service. Super advantageous price-quality ratio. Honorable mention for gnocchi with the fondue of Montebore and for the tiramisu made with their peaches: a poem!
Our friends have invited us to this farm, located on a hill in Tuscany, and immediately we were pleasantly in this oasis of quiet green. Moto good reception of Ugo the owner, as the service at the tables decidedly accurate. Excellent pacts from appetizers to sweets, simple but tasty and tasty. Note that all ingredients are at zero kilometer. Mark the accompanying wines of own production, all DOC with possibility of purchase. The lunch was appreciated by all of us and soon we will also return to find the atmosphere of the family of a real farm.
This is the classic family-run farmhouse of the dovenese hills: simple but clean environment, warm welcome as if you were, already from the first time, old customers and friends, real and abundant cuisine, which fully enhances the goodness and freshness of raw materials. A few expertly prepared ingredients that fully enhance the taste of things from the past! Friendly service, always present but very discreet. Hardly you get up at the table with still hunger .. indeed, if anything the opposite! French service with always the possibility of a bis and/or portions over! The room is unique, perhaps a little small, especially when you happen together with noisy tables, very pleasant the pergola in the shade of the green where you can eat admiring the surrounding landscape. Prices absolutely honest and personal always ready to satisfy every particular food need of the adventurs. Definitely promoted! @gargio76
We come here Sunday to lunch taking advantage of a good lunch won at a podistic race, we could not ask for better. is the classic farmhouse of once: small and cosy room furnished in a rustic way, you feel at home. The fixed menu includes 3 starters, 2 first, 2 seconds, sweet coffee and bitter water for 25 euros. we only pay for 1 but the price is really honest. the wines are those produced by them, we opt for an excellent barber in purity of 15 degrees and in steel but really good. At the end of the meal we buy 6 bottles (of this and other wines) at a really affordable price. We try not to overwhelm because we will also eat at dinner but wanting to give the bis of every course. everything is great: the entrance with focaccia and bacon, the meats, the tonnatus. really special Russian salad. excellent the first both stew agnolotti and risotto with mushrooms. good seconds both the roast and the fowl with potatoes. excellent dessert: almond cake with zabaione. good also the digestives of their production. The service is slow, you don't have to be in a hurry but sometimes it's nice to rediscover this type of premises and eat calmly at least on Sunday. I will recommend it to everyone and we will definitely return as soon as we have the opportunity
Good local cuisine with excellent raw materials. Friendly and kind staff. We will return perhaps in spring considering the spectacular view.
