Carmel's Bistro Giovanni

The garlic bread was so good and the staff was very friendly. We got to bring our dog to the patio area for her first time at a restaurant. She even got her own plate and water dish. Genuinely, my only complaint is the chairs. They are awful and uncomfortable and made my feet numb. I don't know what the chairs inside are like though.

Such a local gem ! family owned, and the owner was very involved in the service and comfort of the guests, all the staff was beyond kind, the atmosphere felt as if we were back in europe, and the food was incredible! amazing all-round, highly recommend if you are in the carmel area.

The food was really good, especially the Grandma's Gnocchi. Our problem was our waiter, he was really slow to take our order or bring us water and helps others that arrived later way before us.
