The food is fresh, well prepared and based on local seasonal ingredients (e.g. porcini mushrooms for lunch on Sunday). The prices are medium range not inexpensive. The only disappointment? The staff were not welcoming, never smiled, never even attempted at a personal chat nor left me with a feeling like I was welcomed and to return. Would I return? Maybe. Would I recommend it to others? Maybe.
This is a hidden gem of a place, with a warm welcoming atmosphere, with good food at a great price. We had eggs with truffles, a pasta dish, a side salad and it couldn't have been more perfect. We spent all afternoon in the garden, in the warm sun and would have gone back had they been open on a Monday. If you are lucky enough to pass by, do stop for a nice meal!
We were seated right away for our large party. Service was a little slow, but the food made up for that. Everyone enjoyed there selection. We had dessert, champagne, made friends, memories. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Would eat here again it in Arezzo.
