Location is great because the beach is over the street and the price is fair. Staff are respectful, professional and friendly. But I saw no one wearing masks, only one employee who brought out breakfast. The food is also significantly cooked by inexperienced and/or unskilled employees. The bathrooms by the pool are rarely cleaned. Pipe in the bathroom was leakage, paper dispenser in the bathroom was empty, AC rattled, ceiling on bed seemed dirty (can only old but cleaned). Overall, the place needs some serious redesign. An assessment of 2 is probably more appropriate, but the employees made the stay tolerable. You're a great crew.
We only ate in the restaurant, so the rating is only for this part: great location and spacious, reasonable price and actually not bad food. However, with the current situation about the virus and cleaning the place they would have done much better work. There was only one more group next to us in the restaurant (they usually drank, no food from what we saw) but the dining area had garbage everywhere, empty plastic bottles on the floor. The service could also be a bit faster. Not the perfect place, but I'd probably go back there for drinks.
Food and beverages are fantastic, but they don't care about their swamp, which causes mosquitoes to ruin your trip. The rooms also have mosquitoes, not hot water. The morning receptionist is rude, but the night is an incredible person; She helped with our cab.
Four friends and I Stopped to get some food at the restaurant. We ordered 2 chivo(goat) meals, one order of chuletas, one order of octopus and an order of Bistec(steak) meal. Took about 1 hr to get food out. Due to the covid-19 situation, we were understanding and had about 5 presidents while waiting. Only complaint was that one of the orders of chivo was all bones and no meat. While other chivo silver was filled with chivo meat and couple bones. Mentioned it to waitress and she said she could not do much. So went and spoke to a woman and man that were supposed to be management. I expressed that I was not paying for the chivo bones. They kept telling the waitress to take care of it. I asked them that normally management resolves these types of problems. This is experience from owning a few restaurants. They offered to give us a discount of 2 beers in exchange. The food is good, but make sure you get what you order. Four friends and I went to eat something at the restaurant.
