Pizz Core - MONTE ARGENTARIO

Excellent food for a good price. Maybe the best pizza we experienced on our travels in Toscana. Gets very crowded at around 8PM, so be early if you wish to avoid a long queue.

My first night in the area and I walked past a very friendly and inviting restaurant. Carlo is a very friendly chef that cooks incredible pizza, the crunch neopolitan pizza is something that made me say mmmm out loud. The recommendation of the truffle crunch neopolitan style done in traditional fashion was not only a beautiful looking pizza but the dough was proofed perfectly, flavour was incredible and the taste was something I will come back for before I leave. Carlo thank you very much for the food experience and also recommendation of wine that I left a review whilst still siting here. Leaving tonight very happy.

Worth travelling for, absolutely incredible, melt in the mouth pizza and they even do Gluten Free dough if you message and ask for one in advance. There is always a queue here but it moves fast so don’t panic, best Gluten Free pizza in Italy.

Amazing pizza! Great views. Recommend the Parma ham one. Friendly staff and quick service, great for families and couples.

Throughout Tuscany one really struggles to find a real pizza, as most pizzerie there serve some sort of very thin flatbread which has nothing to do with the original. I find it quite annoying given my fondness of pizza, even more so since millions of unaware tourists will take home the wrong memories with them, as Tuscan crackers are NOT pizza! Well... Well... Well... But this is the right one! A REAL, AUTHENTIC, PROPER NEAPOLITAN PIZZA AS IT SHOULD BE! I took an 80 miles detour on my way to the airport just to savor the REAL DEAL! THANK YOU TO THE NEAPOLITAN LADS WHO 'VE OPENED THIS PIZZERIA AMIDST THE TUSCAN PIZZA DESERT!
