Casa Albelo Do Geres - Montalegre

The employees at this restaurant are aporophobes. They discriminate against their customers based on the amount of money they expect to receive from them. Since I prefer a lacto-ovo vegetarian diet, I ordered omelettes instead of the meat dishes. The employees assumed that I was ordering omelettes because I didn't have the money to pay for the meat dishes, and therefore they harassed me. After waiting about one hour for three omelettes, amid the smiles and whispers of the employees, I gave up. I paid for the bread and drinks and left. I do not recommend restaurants with this type of behavior.

We stopped for lunch after hiking in the area. The people there were very welcoming and gave us lots of pointers for exploring the area. The food was amazing, the best we had in Portugal so far. And the views are super from the restaurant! Highly recommended! We were too hungry to take photos when the food arrived but then we remembered when dessert came

É a terceira vez que estamos na Casa Albelo do Gerês e, sempre excepcional. Prezamos o silêncio, a comida, os bons colchões e almofadas. O atendimento dos proprietários e de todos os colaboradores é muito simpático e caloroso. Enfim, um excelente alojamento e restaurante para quem quer descansar da confusão das cidades e do turismo de massas.

Tudo muito bom e staff super simpático e atencioso,o alvarinho branco do produtor é divinal. Não deixem de visitar

Siamo stati qui due volte ed abbiamo mangiato benissimo:sia la carne, loro specialità (cotta alla perfezione) sia la cucina tipica portoghese (il baccalà e gli antipasti).il valore aggiunto sono Miguel e la moglie (i titolari) e Bruno, il ragazzo che serve in sala: ci hanno fatto sentire a casa e non saremmo mai voluti andare via. E’ un bel luogo poco turistico (per questo unico) e questa accoglienza rende speciale la cena. peccato non aver anche soggiornato qui!
