Eclipse - Mont-roig del Camp

Such a shame, the lunchtime menu del dia used to be well cooked great value but not anymore. Starter consisted of about 8 endive leaves, with a tasty dressing and a few chopped nuts, the main course of fritura de mairas con salsa romesco, was just a plate with over cooked fried fish, no vegetables, no garnish just a bit of lemon, and a pot of romesco sauce. I ordered the fresh fruit salad and ice cream, ice cream ok fruit salad tasted like it had been made for days. It used to include a bottle of wine, now you get half a glass of wine. Oh you also get a stale roll and we had to ask for the water which wasincluded in the price and came in a mini bottle. Don't think we will be going back, which is a shame as the view is lovely.

5 stars, 10/10 a totally enjoyable dining experience with a fantastic Mediterranean Sea view. Not to be missed!

It just seems to get better. Been here many times and it never fails. Great seafood choices with 1st class service. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Amazing location overlooking the beach.

Y para cenar, os recomendamos el restaurante Eclipse, situado también en pleno paseo marítimo de la Playa Cristal. Se trata de un Lounge Bar de cocina mediterránea y en el que tuvimos la suerte de probar una buena cantidad de platos, entre ellos un delicioso “suquet” de marisco y pescado, plato típico de la zona. Precisamente este manjar tiene su origen en la costa de Tarragona, en el que los pescadores, al acabar su jornada y a pie de barca, elaboraban la salsa, hecha a base de majado de pan frito, almendras crudas y otros ingredientes que le dan sabor; y mezclándolo con pescados que habían quedado maltrechos en las manipulaciones de pesca. ¡Para chuparse los dedos!

Estaba muy sabroso, el personal era agradable y amable, el ambiente era muy relajado y te sentías como en casa. de recomendación, me encantaría volver allí una y otra vez.
