Contribuiți la feedbackA visit to the Auvergne for a 3-day hike to the sancy, we sought to take a little courage before climbing. Well, badly took us! attracted by the correct rating on trip advisor, we did not take the time to read the comments associated. So we arrive in a nice hostel with a nice decor, and that's where everything started. We waited about 10 minutes at the restaurant entrance before someone cares about our presence in order to assign us a table. a warm welcome as a night of 31 December at the top of the elevest, but we pass, we all have days with and days without. So we order two truffles. We are brought to the table a kind of dauphinois gratin not good, which fills the garlic, in which we search for cheese, which has a taste rance, and whose potatoes are for half not cooked enough. all accompanied by a ham probably industrial, cut into roughly thick and hard slices. Anyway, the worst truffle we've ever eaten. dessert side, or saying "homemade" the auvergnat cepe. two industrial meringues on a vanilla ice ball with melted chocolate. It's visually pretty, it's letting itself eat, but it clearly doesn't catch up with the horror of the truffle. Brief, a dessert menu served in almost 2 hours, a record! one thing is safe, if you are looking for a real truffle, go your way and do not hesitate to do a few kilometers more to find a real restaurant!
We are coming to 3 more 2 dogs and have asked to breakfast out so as not to disturb the room and well the housemaster has held to what we go back and then a little water for our dogs again thank my entrèe a duo salmon and truite fumè ,me gouteux, a quasi veal sauce forest apples jumped exquisite dessert
A restaurant with regional dishes based on blueberry or cheese. The products are very well presented and highlighted. the setting is typical and pleasant, the perfect service and excellent dishes. I highly recommend this hostel if you go through the Sancy Mountains.Restaurant tickets are accepted.Please book especially in the summer.
I and my children dreamed of a truffle like I had already eaten in a small Auvergnate hostel a few years ago. The truffle came cold at our table, and frankly not very tasteful compared to the one my wife or the one I loved a few years ago. My daughter ordered turkey scalopes that were tender but not cooked enough. the red wine ordered was too fresh. On the other hand, nothing to say about the reception.
We had lunch in August. the lawn (Lamb stuffed and brown cabbage) and the blueberry pie were excellent and served quickly. Kind service.
