Contribuiți la feedbackHotel is way past it's prime, Lamps are falling apart, amenities either diminished or removed entirely, bulbs are blown, tile is loose in the bathroom, most bathroom handrails are removed or damaged and loose, wall paper is peeling, staff is constantly being turned over and changed (they can't keep reliable people). Save your money and try the Hilton Garden Inn, or the Hamilton. Both are less than two miles away.
The hotel was clean and the room smelled great! There was a full kitchen with a stove which is cool if you’re staying a while. However, don’t expect a single utensil plate or anything to cook on. Bring your own? Strange. Our shower didn’t work which was fine for us at RBI’s short stay, but not ideal. Mostly friendly staff. They claim to have room service but they do not. My biggest complaint of all is and this ruined the entire experience for me was the pool. In fairness I did know the pool closed at 9:30 (because I asked), but forgetting this while playing with my daughter in the pool and several other families there with small children, they abruptly turned out the lights in the indoor pool area. No warning, no human to check to see if everyone was out. Frantic mothers with cell phone lights searching for their kids in the pool. Horrible. No major signs that lights go out promptly at 9:30. Nothing. It was scary and could have been a disaster. Elderly person having a swim and can’t see to safely exit? Small children. I could go on with scenarios. It is a major fail on the hotels part. I immediately went to the front desk to meet a snarky lady who told me that’s just what they do. Not her problem. Surely not she doesn’t own it, however, I explained how serious it was and she didn’t care. I’m not a “Karen” this was really bad and unsafe. Lots of moms sitting aside watching their little ones play and then no one could see a thing. Based on the above, I would not return.
I travel for business most weeks of the month. I stay in mostly Hilton properties. This one was very concerning. Unfortunately, my first experience with the front desk staff was poor and it just got worse from there. I asked if my room was ready at 2 pm and without looking anything up, they just said “no, check in is at 3 pm.” When I finally got to my room, it smelled musty, the cabinet that housed the fridge had the door falling off, the sink wouldn’t drain, the hot water faucet didn’t work and there was a black mark in the bottom of the toilet. Also, there was no chair for the desk. I didn’t sleep because of noise so I just left at 6 am the next day so I didn’t have to stay any longer. This property needs work. I hope my review helps.
Rooms need updating, breakfast wasn't open at 6 am during the week. Air seems stale in the hallways so ventilation needs to be better. Near access to highways so its a good thing. Quiet so you're not hearing traffic
We had an event at the ball room this month. Naji Saliba, the sales director was absolutely amazing. He was very warm friendly and over beyond his call of duty to make it a magical evening. The entire staff is very helpful at Double tree. Overall we had a great experience there.
