Cafe Thelen - Monschau

Lunch after a great morning hike in the national park eifel. the parking lot is two minutes to walk and since we had starving, we dived in. saw up that worked well with the dog, as it was less busy, nice eating they had. three special seasonal dishes in addition to the normal menu and we chose from them; followed by a big waffel and an ice and coffee, glass wein and a cola zero. all said we paid 52 euro for both of us and it felt like a good value in a beautiful location, friendly service.

I just ate the cheese. a small beer and a dietary coke to drink and the bill came to €21. a ripper. the trainers park right next to him, so the people tend to move there. I'd rather go up the hill to a decent place. oh yes, and the damentoilette was swimming in the water.

I was there with my boyfriend for lunch and the food was bad and also expensive. We ordered fired Brie and was simply what u can find already prepared at the supermarket! Not home made as stated on the menu. Next, the table on the...outside terrace were dirty. There are way better restaurant there in Monschau this is a typical tricky place to get tourists!
