O Caracol - Monsanto

We only discovered this place this year and we returned three times because it was so good. We chose this place to eat dinner on our last night in Portugal. The food is amazing, the service a step above others and I would say it is one of the most classy places I eat at when I visit Portugal each year. I can't wait to return next year and I already know the dish I want, as I saw it being served at the next table and it looked so good.

Great place amazing food you should come if your in the area you will not be disappointed

We went by chance when we came out to see the caves, it is quite remote, you have to go there on purpose. We arrived late, at 3:30 p.m., and they attended us without any problem, fast service, the waitress was very friendly, and the food was very good and plentiful. We tried the snails, which is their specialty, we didn't like them and I think it's mainly because we are not used to that type of food but the sauce and beans that came with them are good.

Limited menu, but very nice food. It's good quality and there's a lovely view outside. The food is yummy, so make sure to stop by if you're looking for a local Portuguese restaurant!
