The Buzz - Monrovia

Slowest service in history. Food over priced. Food was cold when received. Will never return. People came later and received food way before others.

The only word I have is disappointed. We went in this morning for two coffees and a plain bagel toasted with cream cheese. After a few minutes the lady in the back proceeded to ask us what we waiting on for which we told her the bagel and she rudely responded, it’s gonna be awhile you can wait outside. We weren’t feeling like sitting in 90 degree weather so we moved to the front of the restaurant where I proceeded to ask another employee If she had started the bagel because if she hadn’t, we would just happily take our coffees because we could tell they had a big order and she was stressed (totally fine). She got upset that we had asked the lady upfront and proceeded to start talking about us, mind you we were 5 feet away and could hear everything. As someone who works in customer service, it’s not hard to be kind even though it can be stressful at times. I used to like the buzz but the lack of customer service has left a poor taste in my mouth and I definitely won’t be back.

The owner is a gem! My latte and carrot cake donut were the best we ever had! Support this awesome local establishment, you won’t be disappointed. Wheelchair accessibility: First floor bakery and accessible for wheelchairs.

I came here after seeing reviews. The place is amazing I just wish they were open longer than 3pm! They offer so many desserts and creations they also bake cakes! They also have many coffee creations too! The bakers they work hard and come in early in the morning to prepare. They also sell photography, on their wall. They also are closely connected to their community on their board. The woman there also told me she changes her menu every month so if you come once a month you can try all their uniqueness when it comes to bakery. Come see what the buzz is about!!! Dietary restrictions: On the menu they have gluten free products. Kid-friendliness: They are connected to their community specifically I saw they had a poster for a Linganore High play and the fire department bingo. They also have TV to occupy little ones.
