Trapp's - Monroe

The road construction and the closed street right in front of the entrance left a poor initial impression. However, the delicious food, attentive service, and the pleasant experience on the riverside porch quickly made up for it. The reasonably priced and casual atmosphere made our lunch enjoyable.

As tourists just passing through, we discovered our new favorite spot at Trapps. The beautiful rainbow over the river felt like a sign that we were meant to be there. The Cajun cuisine was exceptional, and if you have the chance to be served by the wonderful Gracia, you won’t be disappointed. The live music added to the experience, making our time on the deck truly delightful.

Delicious! We spotted the sign from I-20, and initially hesitated to go in, but the food pictures looked too tempting to ignore! I'm glad we decided to give it a try—it did not disappoint! The food was great, and I highly recommend sitting outside to enjoy the lovely view!

Eaten here twice, once at the bar and once on their riverfront patio, which was beautiful. We started with the fried crawfish tail appetizer, the had the steak dinner for 2 special. The steak was seasoned well, cooked to order, and served promptly. Good beers on tap as well. If you?re in the area definitely worth seeking out.
