Monroe Diner

This place is another good breakfast spot I been to. Their chicken bacon waffle is probs one of the best chicken and waffles I ever had highly recommend.

Stopped here on my way back from Bridgeport one night. The first thing the hostess said to me was We 're closing in 10 mins OK, so now I feel rushed. I sat down and thought I better pick what I want quickly. 5 mins later the waiter takes my order. Had a diet coke, bacon cheeseburger and onion rings. They were all delicious, seriously, the food was good. The atmosphere/decor is nice as well. Then the bill comes and the waiter says it 'll be $24. I leave them $28. Seems expensive for a bacon cheeseburger, onion rings and a diet coke. I should have turned around and walked out when I was greeted with We 're closing in 10 mins

Very clean and cozy. Food is always great. Great diner food!

Very nice small town feel diner. Staff was very nice.

Had chicken soup and grilled cheese, the best around.
