Cheng Garden Ha - Monroe

The customer service at this restaurant is extremely poor, as the cashier is unfriendly and rude. Utensils are often missing and food is not packed properly. The fried rice is mushy and lacks quality in its preparation. There are much better dining options available in Monroe Township, so it is recommended to drive the extra 5 minutes for a better experience.

The Chinese food here is excellent. The Kung Pao chicken is especially delicious!

The food at this restaurant is average, with a rating of 2 out of 5. There is potential for improvement. The fried rice lacked flavor and had a mushy texture, which did not pair well with the overly saucy General Tso chicken. On the positive side, the service was good and their egg roll received a rating of 3 out of 5.

Our regular Chinese spot was closed so we tried Cheng Garden. Everything was great. As of now, we have a new regular spot.

I normally don’t leave reviews but WOW this place has GREAT dinners so far I only had 2 different ones which were Orange Beef which was what I was going to order tonight until a read Luis “FlyGuyLou” Sierra’s review saying they had the best General Tso’s so I gave it a try and wow thank god I did. Easily the best decision of my night, it was lightly breaded to oerfection other chinese places over bread them and it ruins the quality and most times have barely any shrimp but not Cheng Garden. EVEN THE SAUCE is amazing, I could drink it. Alright enough rambling on for me on a review but seriously my new chinese spot I’ll drive the 20 mins I don’t care its worth it.
