Braiz'n American Grill - Monroe

I really enjoy this restaurant. I have only been once, but it reminded me of the fun ice houses and Tex-Mex restaurants we used to visit while living in Texas. The food is fantastic and the staff is very friendly.

I enjoy trying out locally owned restaurants, so I was excited to try Braiz'n. However, my excitement quickly faded after trying their burgers. The meat quality was good, but the lack of seasoning made them forgettable. I ordered the mushroom swiss burger and my companion ordered the blues burger. The house cut fries were lackluster as well. The restaurant has a cool New York hole in the wall vibe, but the food didn't live up to the atmosphere. The beer selection was good, but what bothered me the most was overhearing the owner discussing the business with guests. It seemed like he was seeking validation for the problems with the restaurant. My advice would be to adjust the recipes to let the quality meat shine and focus on advertising. I had no idea the restaurant existed until today, and apparently they have been open since 2017. I also suggested looking into a local delivery service that caters more to the area's customer base. I hope the owner takes this feedback constructively, as they have potential to turn things around.

We also visited on October 16th and decided to come back for the burger. We had to wait a while again, but it didn't bother us as we were enjoying time with friends and chatting. We chose to sit outside, which was lovely. Our server, Ashley, was very friendly and provided great service. Thank you!

I couldn't wait to take a bite as soon as my meal arrived! This restaurant is the perfect spot for breakfast.

A friend recommended this restaurant to me, saying they had one of the best burgers in the city; he was right. The staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable for the quality of the food.
