The Dugout Grill - Monroe City

We were camping at Indian Springs and decided to go grab a bite to eat. Our first time there. Everyone made us feel welcome and the pizza was really good

Great Place! I am a Hotel owner of the Fairbridge Inn in Monroe City and send guests to the Dugout all the time. My wife and I dined there last night and I had bacon cheese fries and a double cheeseburger and she had a grilled ham sandwich and onion rings. The food is delicious! The Frog Legs are the best we had in ages. I am glad they brought them back to the menu. I will continue recommending the place and have menus in my hotel to hand out to our guests whom are looking for a good place to eat. Great customer service!

Good luck with going by their menu and waiting for the chicken specialty meals that are PROMISED on their menu WOW

Food was good, portion size was great. Good deal for the money. Only complaint was the speed of service and speed of the kitchen. (We were in mid afternoon and only 2-3 other groups in the bar, it wasn't packed)

Came here with my family 2 weeks ago. Told the waitress we had never been in before. She failed to tell us there was a nicer dining area then the bar. Waited over 45 minutes for our food. The kids corn dogs were well done and they wouldn’t eat them. The pizza was good but would not worth the smoke filled environment, the wait or the terrible service. My advice is to go somewhere else in town.
