Very polite and professional waiter but.... Aperitif, scarce and expensive, €60 for 4 aperitifs seems like a steal to me, with a side dish of 4 olives, giardiniera, and 4 taralli, we often go to Monopoli and they really won't see us again. After walking around the historic center, by chance, we came across this place. Intrigued above all by the refinement. They welcomed us very kindly. The place was very well kept and, for the period, pleasantly heated (even the hot water). It was very late to eat anything else so we could only enjoy some very excellent pizzas. Unfortunately one pizza was extremely burnt (half completely black), we pointed this out upon its arrival and also during the evening. Only at the end, when they asked if we wanted anything else, they asked us if we wanted another pizza but we said that was not the case. Unfortunately, they didn 't even mention this unwelcome pizza on the bill. Never mind, maybe they were tired from the evening. I forgot, the pizzas arrived first and then, after our request, the beers. I think we had a lot of patience.

Restaurant in the historic center of Monopoli, very well looked after, elegant but at the same time warm and welcoming thanks also to the staff who pampered us from start to finish. Excellent food, generous portions and an absolutely affordable price. (We chose the fixed menu on Sunday between the sea or the mountains, all inclusive of drinks, 39 euros!!! absolutely below the average in the center of Monopoli) best wishes to all the staff and the new management.
