On a Wednesday in September in Monopoli, we decide to stop attracted by the colours, the vast choice of the menu, the best cacio e pepe I have ever eaten, the fried food so delicate and light that it melted in the mouth. We stopped for lunch and were able to order quickly. Unfortunately very long wait to get our dishes (two pasta dishes) and we were quite disappointed with our meal: the lemon and pepper pasta dish was too spicy to be enjoyed and the shrimp and lemon pasta dish was muffled by salt.
