Crema Cafe - Monona

This is a local favorite because of its proximity to the lake and to Monona Drive. I have always enjoyed the food and the busy yet intimate atmosphere. I love their donut holes and there’s small desserts and pastries. I enjoy their croissants and their savory turnovers. The staff are quick and friendly.

I love this place except I can never decide what to get because everything is so good. We were there for breakfast and I always end up getting the oatmeal. It's baked with cranberries and pecans. Served with milk and brown sugar. I like it with just a little milk and no brown sugar. It is sooo good !

Stopped here for lunch. They had a few tables available outside and plenty of tables inside. You order your food at the counter and then they bring it out to you. Our food was plentiful and hot. The fruit was very fresh.

I asked for a black coffee to go, even tipped a dollar. Waited around for over ten minutes watching other people who ordered after me receive their more complicated drinks. Finally asked where my coffee was and the person behind the counter told me it was self serve. Would have been great to know that when I ordered. I got a weird cliquey vibe from this whole place, I definitely do not want to ever go back. Coffee was good tho

Delicious food and awesome staff. Crema was recommended by our AirBNB host and we are so glad that we went with his recommendation. We shared a bluebird chicken salad sandwich and also had a mocha and smoothie. Yum!
