Swiss prices for cheap and not fresh food. Cannot recommend. Been there many times and it’s disappointing everytime.

We enjoyed lunch here on a hot summer day. The terrace was packed, so we were happy to have made reservations beforehand. It was very hot, but the umbrella's weren't big enough to ensure everybody could eat in the shade. I guess it's worth while...to invest in bigger and better umbrella's to shield their customers from the sun. The staff is very friendly and insisted on speaking English with us although our French was way better than their English. But it is a nice gesture to try and accommodate your clients. Food was simple, but tasty. The duck I had, was not cooked perfectly but I enjoyed my meal nonetheless. My biggest complaint are the toilets (just two of them), which really aren't up to par to serve the clients of such a big restaurant. Luckily there was a message in the toilets ensuring us that they will renovate (and hopefully add some extra ones) the toilets in the near future. Since it was rather busy, it took us a while to get the attention of the staff to get our bill. And since there was a problem with the bill of a customer that wanted to pay right before us, we had to wait longer than should be expected.

Disclaimer : the staff is REALLY nice and kind, and at the end of our meal one waiter apologized saying that it was an extraodinary busy day. Said that: The restaurant is very cozy and reachable after a small walk from the Telepherique (please, be...aware that you have to be equipped with good shoes…and better health, the path is not too easy to take). We came here because of the many suggestions to try their burgers… well, as we got there we were informed that there were none left (at I understand it’s past midday, I understand it was the day after Easter…but if you stay open might as well have enough stock for the people you expect right? They only had two other plates: roasted chicken (the simplest dish I’ve ever tasted, not to mention it was also sweet at the taste – maybe they had cooked it together with carrots? or veal. At the thought of not being able to taste their so-well-considered-burger, my bf decided to share the “poulet roti” with me (together with some French fries). The staff is nice, true…but as slow as turtles. It took them a whole hour to bring me my ice tea (after having mistaken my order twice, first with hot tea and second with a bottle of water). The wait was UNBEARABLE, as I was right under the sun and they kept saying “The tea will arrive”. Same with the payment of the lunch… What to say? I want to give them another try just to taste their burgers, otherwise, I highly recommend to stay at the other restaurant…!!!

We arrived at on Sunday, and we were told to come back minutes later as the restaurant was full. We came back at It took about minutes to be led to a table and given a menu. When they came back...to take the order, we were told that kitchen was closed. It was disappointing to say the least.
