Mardy Fish Chips - Monmouthshire

We received a generous portion of fish and chips with prompt and friendly service. Despite being located 10 miles outside the city, everything arrived fresh and hot.

I ordered fish and chips for my meal, but was disappointed with the overcooked and mushy chips. The batter on the fish was so thin that I didn't feel the need to rush back for another visit.

The website depicted a burger with salad served in a bungalow, but in reality, the burger was served without any salad or toppings like tomatoes. The photos were completely misleading. The quality of the food was poor, with the chips appearing as if they were cooked long before being served. While this chip shop has had some hits with their food in the past, this particular meal was a disappointment.

2 Reg Cod and chips , chips done to perfection , cod lovely and plenty of it for a regular size . Good value and lovely and fresh , great to see this business open again , Safety steps well laid out with queuing space...outside and marked on the floor , hand wash inside and screens up .
