Skippers Seafood Chowder - Monmouth

Skipper is always great! Never had a bad experience! Great staff and delicious food. Just stop changing locations further away from Salem/Keizer area lol.. cute buildings now. Always get the top combination of the skipper.

The service here is good and the staff is friendly. There is nothing extraordinary about skipper, but it is good for fish and chips and a bit of nostalgia. The food and the chowder have been consistently good and have been as long as Skipper's was. It has everything you can eat option that is beautiful and the prices are not terrible. I often go here enough and I will definitely be back

The food was absolutely delicious. The service was amazing. The cashier trained someone and yet the order and payment went so smooth that you wouldn't even know. The service of Montana the waitress was also simply brilliant. I have never visited these skippers, but I will definitely make the 30-minute drive over and over for this food and service.

This was a second visit for me and both times the food was great. This skipper is in an older building, but it has charm, it is clean and has seating in indoor or outdoor areas. There are tables for 2 or 4 and there is enough space to press tables together if you have more than 4 in your group. Toilets (2) were clean. Parking is on-street or in far behind. I liked this place. You get good food at a reasonable price, served by nice, friendly people who were willing to accommodate a customer's request for a slight change of menu. Other customers who order or food were also very nice and friendly. All together, this is a place where I want to go again.

Just as good as can be for borderline fast food. The fish is tender and flaky and full of flavor. The prices are about average. It doesn't take too long to get the food after you order. Better seating could help but overall really good food.
