Kanpai Izakaya - Moncton

Kanpai never disappoints! The quality of the food is definitely worth the price. I always leave happy after dining there. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff is incredibly friendly.

Yesterday was the fifth time that my friend and I dined here and I can honestly say that this is the only restaurant I was that this was compatible with both service and food quality. eating is great and the atmosphere is welcoming. the restaurant decoration is as authentic as it is her eating. the music playlist is always something different and unique. we tried almost everything on their menu and they are just so good. kanpai is moncton's true jewel! we will certainly continue to return to this place!

Loved this place!! There was awesome live music just outside while we ate on the patio. The sushi was absolutely amazing and the beef kalbi was delicious. Definitely going to be going back. The mini miso soup to start was such a nice touch

This was my first time to Kanpai and I will definitely be back! Service was impeccable, food was fantastic and the Japanese bar aesthetic was perfect. We were seated right away, given menus and served quickly. The food was great, the presentation was appealing and the drinks were fun spins on old favourites. The bathroom had disposable cups and mouth wash to use after as well. The staff also said thank you to every patron as they left. I had a wonderful time and it was a wonderful value.

Excellent Japanese and Asian cuisine. Not only is the food delicious, but the prices are very fair in comparison to the average, even for alcoholic beverage choices. The ambiance is warm, and comfortable, yet the music is upbeat and fun (80s rock). The menu selection offers many choices including vegetarian options and the dish presentations are visually appealing. There are also options that favor sharing amongst a group. Highly recommended!
