Spinerola - MONCALVO

A very pleasant discovery in the heart of monferrato, we will come back soon! we stopped here for lunch during our bike trip and were not disappointed. the menu conjugates elements of local tradition with new experimental elements successfully. for example, I took a battuta di fassone with strawberry cannaisse, which was delicious! (they can see it hanging in the two pictures.) we also enjoyed a lot of their egg paste with black truffles as well as their mix of local cheeses. we drank a chardonnay of their own production and were also very satisfied with it. completely recomended to all who are looking for a full great experience.

Overall, this is a nice hotel especially with a price/quality rating. Nevertheless, there is a little charm and carefree for details like the strange space in front of the swimming pool where it should be a bar, but it is an empty not well maintained space. some we could say about the bathroom with a non-functional door and one not practically on all systems to close the shower area.

A small piece of paradies on earth. art of place where they hesitate to post big comments as they want to keep it for themselves: everything is fantastic, the hotel, location, restaurant, owners and staff. highly recommended!

Wonderful hotel. Very quiet. Excellent restaurant. Good starting point for short trips to Turin, Alba, Barolo, Casale Monferrato, ...

Un'oasi di pace nelle colline del pallone. il posto è meraviglioso, la struttura è curata e suggestiva, la corte esterna e il giardino sono la ciliegia sulla torta. qui regna la tranquillità! abbiamo pranzato sotto la pergola nel bellissimo giardino con una bella vista sulle colline. il menu ripercorre i piatti tradizionali piemontesi in una prospettiva contemporanea. i piatti sono presentati in modo impeccabile, uno spettacolo reale per gli occhi e anche per il palato. tutto è fatto alla perfezione! il personale è preparato, cortese ed estremamente piacevole. il conto è proporzionale alla proposta. Davvero un bel posto, per un pranzo o un intero weekend!
