The Resident Cafe - Monash

Great service. Delicious food. Stopped in for lunch this weekend. Straight away I was impressed with the great service. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make it a pleasant experience. I had the B.L.A.T, quite nice. My friend had scrambled eggs on toast with bacon, which looked quite good. There’s an inside section and a courtyard out the back. We sat out the back. It was a little cold but not too bad. It’s on quite a busy street, there is on street parking, but not much.

Lovely cafe along the main shopping strip in Ashburton. Went it on a weekday for lunch and it was quite busy. Good selection on the food menu, kids-friendly options and bakery items on the counter. They also have a nice courtyard seating area in the back. Enjoyed my mushroom dish. I had a masala chai but found it a tad sweet.

I order an afternoon snack small serve of chips and some Camille Tea. I found delicious and fresh. The table service was also quick and professional

Great coffee and service. Was able to reserve a table which was handy as we had a small group and baby. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Joe Frank is the best of the best at the corner! I stopped by this cafe the other day and was truly impressed. The hospitality was genuine, the food was of high quality, and the coffee was lovely. I will definitely be coming back. I was so impressed that I even took a few photos! Hamish John Appleby
