Maison Du Caviar - Monaco

Delicious and beautiful environment with efficient service.

If you hear the name of the restaurant, you can think that this is a place only for Russian billionaires. Wrong. Yes, you can get caviar, but it is more a place for Mediterranean food. For only 35 Euros you will receive the lunch menu with appetizer, main course and dessert. My favorites are salad with goat cheese in crispy dough, salmon with vegetables or French fries and as dessert a floating island. The restaurant has a large terrace where you can sit outside in the fresh air, which I really appreciate in times of Covid.

A busy and delightful restaurant at the end of Rue St. Charles in the heart of Monaco's main shopping district. Given the number of locals visiting this classic bistro, it is probably a good idea to book. TIP: Try the Duck Confit, it's amazing!

The name (La Maison du Caviar) first led me to the impression that it is an expensive place. But not at all! It is a very beautiful place for dinner with family and friends. Rindstroganoff is always very good. The staff is welcoming, chalereuse and attentive. And yes, they also have caviar!

Food was fantastic. Service warm, friendly unobtrusive. 3 course menu at €48 very good value. Excellent choice of wines. Cant recommend highly enough. 5 stars.
