Konnichiwa Sushi - MONA VALE

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! I ordered the beef teriyaki bento, and the portion size was quite generous. I’m not sure if the lunch size is smaller, but the price difference for dinner is nearly double. The tempura was crispy and cooked to perfection, and the teriyaki sauce was well-balanced and flavorful! However, I found the miso soup to be a bit too salty for my taste. I also tried the salmon aburi roll, and it was absolutely delicious. While it’s on the pricier side, the taste and quality make it worth it at Mona. I’ll definitely be returning!

The owners are a young family, and their culinary skills are impressive. While it operates as a sushi train, they also offer an à la carte menu, which is fantastic. You'll find all the popular items on the sushi train, along with hot dishes like gyoza, katsu, and classic rice bowls (donburi). As a fan of Japanese cuisine who has dined all over the globe, I can confidently say this place ranks among the best! It's conveniently located near the Northern Beaches and Pittwater. I'm excited to make this my go-to spot!
