Contribuiți la feedbackThe poor service overshadowed amazing food. Our server tossed menus at us promised to be right back. When he returned we placed our drink dinner order requested water. He brought it all together and told us he would comp us dessert because he had been neglecting us. He passed by one time while we eating and asked how everything tasted.He was on the move and didn't wait for a reply. Sometime later he showed up with the free dessert of his choosing and brought our check. Even though the restaurant was not crowded the experience resembled fast food more than fine dining.
Very good food cooked and taste to perfection. Nice and polite servers and quick food service. Highly recommended place to eat.
While this restaurant has an upscale atmosphere, unfortunately, we didn’t feel that the food followed through. Our table ordered the filet trio, the 14 ounce ribeye, and the Parmesan crusted NY strip. All of our steaks were cooked well to the appropriate temperature and looked delicious, but the ribeye was thin, and the Parmesan crust on both the strip and one of the filets was just a little over the top for us. The crust itself just wasn’t what we were expecting and there was quite a lot of it. The garlic mash I had with my strip I thought was pretty good. Creamy, though a bit heavy on the garlic. The others at the table felt it was too much like a purée consistency and not quite a mash. A lot of other reviews say the steaks are overpriced and I have to agree there, especially for the ribeye. The strip was probably the best steak we ordered— a little over an inch thick and tender, but the ribeye was probably 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick and we were questioning whether it was actually a full 14 ounces. The side of lobster mac cheese, however, was very good. Now, this is being really not-picky here, but I even felt that the Caesar salad was a little lack luster. A majority of the romaine in my salad was slightly brown on the edges, but I really liked the dressing and the croutons. All this being said, this was our first time here. We really can’t speak to the quality of the Italian offerings here, so maybe those dishes really are the stars at this establishment. I can say with certainty, though, that we are unlikely to return for steak. We would maybe consider trying something else here if we’re ever back in the area.
My family and I stopped here last time we were in town. They start you off with focaccia bread and olive oil so good but filling. I ordered the filet and mashed potatoes. Both were pretty good but I expected a little more to be honest. My brother ordered the chicken prosciutto pasta which was phenomenal. I would highly recommend ordering it. It’s made with a Parmesan cream sauce which was so so good and of which I haven’t stopped thinking about since I tasted it. We all got salads with our entrees which were decent sized and fresh tasting. I had the creme brûlée for dessert, it was delicious. My brother had the limoncello cake which was huge and very tasty. And my dad had the roasted banana cheesecake which he said was very good. It is a bit expensive but that’s to be expected for a steakhouse. The service itself was decent however the server was not the friendliest and seemed annoyed we were there. The pasta was definitely the star of the show but everything was pretty good overall. I would definitely come back if I’m in the area again but next time I will be ordering the pasta instead of the steak.
When I got seated, opened the menu the hostess gave to me and well, there was no menu lol. Let me start by saying the waitress Ashley made it comical about the menu, which was great for me. She was very timely and checked on her tables constantly. Now the food. I got the parmesan crusted strip. It was flavorless. Its like there was zero effort into it before the steak went on the grill. It was cooked how I wanted it so that is a plus. The mashed potatoes weren’t that good either. Lack of flavor was my biggest thing. Then came the crème brûlée, it was really good. Exactly what I would expect that dessert to taste like. So I savored every bite of it. Only giving 2 stars because of the main dish.
