I Due Foscari - MOLFETTA

In this little restaurant on the old harbour of Molfetta, you will be graciously welcomed by Simone, the owner, his son Francesco and young Alessio, the waiter who will let you enter the marvellous world of seafood and fish gastronomy, Italian style. With great joy and enthusiasm, you will be advised all along your meal with great suggestions and you will just need to relax and enjoy the fresh sea products, cooked for you on the spot with genuine manners and tasty combination.

Had a great fish afternoon with all the courses, it was just marvellous went back on sunday afternoon for the carne, spot on

On Thursday we went to this restaraunt as visitors to the port and we were the only customers so service should have been attentive. It was awful and we almost walked out in the first 10 minutes when we were ignored. The whole meal continued with an air of indifference and incompetence when we didn't even get the starter or any starter that we asked for. The risotto scampi contained 2 prawns for each person and that was it for an expensive dish that was not well presented.we left disappointed without the normal italian friendliness we have come to expect. Are we complainers? If you look at the dozens of reviews we have submitted this is the first bad review we have ever submitted as we accept every place has an off night ! That's how bad this was.

We were Sunday and we had so much fun both waiting times and excellent food. fish dishes are excellent service. right price.
