Whilst there we paid a visit to the Teapot Tea Shop easily found on the High St where we much enjoyed English Breakfast Tea for two accompanied by a generous slice of homemade Blueberry Cake. Just what we wanted after the first leg of our walk and although the property was busy on arrival we found a nice table in the rear garden area and service was excellent. Certainly somewhere we would return to on our next visit to Cookham whenever that may be!!
I recently used a Christmas voucher for afternoon tea at Teapot Cafe and had a fantastic experience. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and on such a hot day, they gave us the choice of sitting inside or out. The food was delicious - we were served a generous selection of tasty sandwiches, two large scones with jam and cream, and five huge slices of cake. It was so much food that we couldn't finish it all, but they kindly boxed up the leftovers for us to enjoy throughout the week. It had been some time since our last visit to the cafe, but after this wonderful experience, we will definitely be returning soon.
Looks nice but the unfriendly welcome spoiled the image a bit. Tea and cake was lovely but the crockery and table could have been a bit cleaner. I’d try somewhere else next time.
Booked for AfternoonTea and it was excellent. The staff were most attentive and very polite. The sandwiches, cake and scones were of the highest quality with a very nice tasting pot of tea. Good value and would definitely visit again. Highly recommended
Went with my husband and son for lunch to the Teapot! Ordered lunch and waited and waited.. watching everyone else get their food. Finally went to ask where the food was and the waitress looked at the kitchen staff and said what's happened to the order? The kitchen staff replied what order and proceeded to say they had missed the order as they had turned over two pages on the pad together! We could not believe it there was no apology just both saying it was not their fault!! Obviously customer service is not high up on their list and to add insult to injury they could not even muster an apology. All we could hear as we left was the waitress saying it wasn't my fault. All I can say is they can only handle a simple tea and cake anything cooked seems to be beyond their remit.
