Park Place - Mohnton

My husband and I have been going to Park Place for 20 years, where we lived in the area of Denver and were always happy with food and experience. I'm glad to say that they've sticked to all Kovid restrictions so that I'm comfortable to go. The food is always good and plentiful and I enjoy the special cakes they have for dessert. I'll take a piece home to have later or the next day. However, they have recently changed the cake supplier and unfortunately the quality of the products is not so good. I hope they're going back.

The prices are amazing. You can get a soup dish, grilled chicken with two vegetables, cornbread and rolls, plus dessert for just $9.95. The service was excellent as well.

This restaurant was incredible. I brought my girlfriend here for a date, having never been here before, but it definitely paid off. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the background music was just right—soft, classic jazz that set the perfect mood for a romantic evening.

This is the best diner in our area. The staff is extremely friendly, and the portions are generous. The prices are great, and we’ll keep coming back to support this local gem instead of chain restaurants.

I ordered the smokehouse burger. There were plenty of pieces of bacon on it and the overall taste was good. It comes with a pickle, fries, soup, and coleslaw. There was a lot on my plate and couldn't possibly have hoped to finish it all even though one of their shakes was calling my name afterwards. You could easily split this meal among two people if you get another side. The only complaint I would have would be that the coleslaw was a little too finely chopped up which might make it unappetizing to some people with texture issues while eating. The slaw did taste good though. They followed covid standards very well too.
