Great atmosphere, staff friendly. Kids loved their food eg- pizza, burger, chips. But me and my partner ordered half chicken and chips and salad but when this arrived but nowhere in the menu or the menu board outside did it say it had mushroom sauce on the chicken. Absolutely disgusting, I could not eat.
This place is well located on the harbour edge with good views across the water. It is a bit rundown and in need if a facelift. The service was efficient and the food was tasty. The steak portions were large.
Myself and a female friend dined at this restaurant. After establishing that I had a shell fish allergy with the staff I did not expect to be served with shell fish!! it after rejecting my order on 2 occasions, they served it again with shell fish!! . In addition a waiter followed my 12 year old daughter to the toilet, then on a second occasion repeated the action the with an 11 year old boy in our party. We challenged this, having witness this, with 3 males waiters to be told that I was in the wrong for both the food issue and wanting to protect my children. Being a single mum I was not happy with the environment and was wanting to leave knowing that I would have an inversion to the food I had consumed. The children were scared and crying, hence I left taking them to a safe environment, the waited staff followed us, and attacked us physically. The police were called to which I saw no issue having experienced the above. I urge everything to avoid this establishment especially if you have children, or a food allergy.
We had visited Puerto Rico twice before and always walked past here as it looked too touristy. This visit we decided to call in one night for a drink. The drinks are very reasonable. They had a singer/guitarist on. He wasn't bad. The menu looked OK. We went another night. We had Pizzas and beers. Again well entertained. The staff are super friendly. We returned once more, again it was very quiet but we were well received. Had a pizza and a hawaiian chicken with banana and pineapple and a sauce. I then had a Barraquito coffee. Amazing. There were some local families in and the singer sang canarian songs for them. They got up to dance, the waiters got my partner and I up to dance. It was a great evening, they closed late and we were given free drinks. Give it a try.
