La Pampa - Mönchengladbach

We were first time coming here for dinner because a friend recommended this restaurant to us. It's a traditional Argentinien steakhouse. The atmosphere was good, also excellent services. We started with sharing a baby calamari grilled with garlic and gambas al ajillo. Grilled calamari with flavor and the meat is very tender. We had an Entrecôte and Filet Argentinean steak. The flavour of the meat was amazing and also house wine. We had a very nice dinner indeed. We 'll definitely come back and would recommended this place!

As a full on carnivore with an appreciation for great meat cooked well this place ticks all the boxes for me personally.I liked the multiple size offerings within the menu and my only regret was the 300g fillet I ordered should have been the 500g. Excellent Argentinean red wine available making for a superb meal and a very pleasant evening.Most certainly will visit again when next in town

Totally unexpected, great food, good atmosphere, good service. Excellent stakes, fish and seafood grill. Would definitely be back!

Dined at La Pampa recently as a group of 4, each ordering a steak. Quality of the meat was good but there was significantly difficulty in obtaining steaks cooked as requested.Starters were acceptable though one was over flavoured with oil. Atmosphere is 'Argentinian ranch'. Group generally felt it was expensive for what was experienced.

Although we prebooked for 1830 hrs and knew that we had to be finished by 2100 hrs, I didnt expect to be sat in a doorway with waiters rushing round to lay other tables, then - after finally ordering - for the starter to arrive before wine and the main course to be dumped on your table while we were still finishing the starter. Food ok but don't go if you want a relaxing dinner!
