Putia Del Coppo - Modica

I visited for lunch during a trip to Modica. I sampled the calamari and the fries and was very impressed that it could all be made gluten free. My food was fresh and tasty and took under ten minutes to prepare (I visited on a Sunday lunchtime). The couple running the place were very kind and I enjoyed practising my Italian with them. My only regret is that I didn’t visit again before I left Modica! (I tried to one day, but the power was down due to the heatwave I think, so they had to close). Highly recommended!

We came by Putia del Coppo by chance our first day in Modica. We came back 2 more times because the food was so good and the owners were so kind! We highly recommend the arancine di pesce. If you want excellent street food, this is a must!

Really sweet couple run this little eatery. Tasty deep fried fish of the day and interesting arancini. The fried veg was really good.

Prendere via o fermarsi ai tavoli all'esterno, prendere un tappo (carta di carta) riempito con verdure o pesce o arance o tutte le padelle fritte in una pastella rigorosamente senza glutine e godersi le bellezze della città.
